A táblázat osztályai ezt mutatják: hogy pl.

- Az appoint típusú igék tárgyát három féle dolog követheti:
főnév(i szerk.), as + főnév(i szerkezet), és to be + főnév(i szerkezet),

- A name típusú igék tárgya után a következő két dolog állhat:

² A szerkezetek "idiomatikus" kifejezések. Ez annyit jelent, hogy a teljes szerkezetet így együtt érdemes megjegyeznünk. Ez az "idomatikusság" a magyarból is legtöbbször kiderül: lágyra főzni Þ (boil an egg² soft) leginkább csak tojást lehet, rövidre nyírni (crop your hair² short) főleg hajat, stb. A 'visz, kerget' jelentésű drive viszont (pl. drive sy mad²) pl. csak a megadott néhány melléknévvel együtt használható; a set csak a free-vel, a work csak a loose-szal, stb. Beszélhetnénk akár set free és work loose igékről is; ilyenkor a ²-es jelet a melléknév kapta.
